As a native of Charlotte, NC, I have seen tremendous growth and change come to my hometown. As a witness to these changes I understand how the real estate market in Charlotte has changed. I am in a great position to serve a diverse client base as Charlotte real estate continues to evolve. I have over 20 years experience in the Real Estate industry. I founded my own Real Estate Brokerage, Jim Beaty and Associates, in 1991. I am very proud of the success of Jim Beaty and Associates. In the 15 years since opening, my associates and I have served countless buyers and sellers of real estate. As a family owned business my wife of 35 years, Susan, is an integral member of the firm. Both my children, Bryan and Suzanne chose to affiliate themselves with Jim Beaty & Associates. I am extremely proud of their success in real estate.

Due to the growth of my business, in 2005, I purchased a building in the Mountain Island Community of Charlotte. My new facility has allowed me to increase my level of customer service given to our valued buyers and sellers of real property. I realize that the decision to buy and/or sell real estate is one of the largest investments families make. In March 2006, I became a franchisee of ERA. Through this investment I have increased my ability to meet and exceed my client’s expectations.

Outside real estate, I am an active member of Gloryland Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. As such I am committed to a Christian business philosophy. I am committed to placing God first in all things. Next I place my commitment to my family. Third, I am dedicated to my business endeavors. I enjoy continuing my 15 years of playing and singing music.
