Sales Associate Profile
Born and raised in San Francisco, I have lived and worked with people from the world over. In college I spent one month in Japan on a travel study program and after graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I spent one year traveling throughout South America and speak Spanish. From San Francisco, I 'migrated' to Oakland, where I first became a condo owner and my nursing career included work in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health care settings. Then I discovered my love for sales, marketing, and contract negotiations. Prior to joining ERA Maui Real Estate, I worked for a global medical device manufacturer negotiating agreements with insurance carriers of all types; managing national, regional, and local accounts; providing educational presentations to healthcare professionals; and training sales and reimbursement personnel throughout the United States. As a resident of Santa Cruz, CA, I began the study of hula and continued those studies with my move to Maui in 2000. I performed at each Hula Bowl Maui from 2001 through 2005 and many other venues throughout the Valley Isle. I served on the Board of Directors of the Case Management Society of America-Hawaii Chapter as V.P., President; and Chairperson of the 2002 Regional Conference as well as Chair of the Exhibitor Committee. I am a proud supporter of the Maui Arts and Cultural Center, Maui Community College, Maui Humane Society, Maui Symphony, and Big Brothers and Sisters and deliver meals each week to homebound residents in Kihei through the Hale KauKau program. When I am not working to serve my clients, my activities include swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, WaveRunning, walking, hiking, practicing Pilates, and selling Weekenders clothing. I bring an array of people and business skills that will assist me in providing excellent service, and am backed by the powerhouse of the experienced team at ERA Maui.
