Sales Associate Profile
Les joined ERA Webb associates in 1999 and became an owner in 2004. His 1st year in the business he was selected for the State of Maine Rookie of the Year. Since then, Les has consistently been one of the Top Producers of ERA in Maine totaling more than 38 million in sales and has been involved with over 350 real estate transactions over the last several years. As a Maine native and a Maine Guide he has an in depth knowledge of area lakes and ponds, their water qualities, and fishing opportunities. Les is a member of the Augusta Kiwanis Club, a Mason at the Lafayette Lodge in Readfield and former Boy Scout Master Troop #650. He resides in Readfield/Kents Hill with his wife Betsy and has two Eagle Scout sons, one is a graduate of UMaine and the other is currently attending college. Prior to his real estate career, Les owned and managed a sporting goods business. He also developed and headed a sports travel company sending anglers, hunters, and outdoor sports enthusiasts all over the world from as far as Alaska to Labrador to Newfoundland and beyond. This experience taught him first hand, the skills needed to succeed in planning, leading, organizing and controlling a business. Les worked in several management positions for one of the largest chain supermarkets on the eastern seaboard, Hannaford Brothers.He often attributes his strong customer service skills and dedication to his employees and customers to this valuable experience. Proudly serving ERA since 1999, Les has worked diligently to exceed company goals and personal expectations.
