Butch relocated from Vermont to Marco Island in 1997 following a career in education and private business in Vermont. Mr. Morgan was the athletic director and varsity basketball coach of St. Joseph's College and prior to his becoming a permanent resident of Marco Island was the owner and manager of Morgan Properties of Vermont.

Mr. Morgan received a Bachelor of Science degree from Castleton College in business education in 1971.

On January 1, 2002, Butch joined the Flagship Real Estate Company and immediately enjoyed great success in the real estate profession. ERA National has recognized Butch for the six consequtive years with their National Leadership Team Award as well as qualifying for the ERA Beyond Excellence Level of Production and those achievements rank in the upper 10% nationally. In 2007 and 2008 Butch ranked at the top of the Southwest Florida ERA Real Estate Agents as a top sales associate in closed dollar volume. Locally, the Marco Island Area Association of Realtors honored Butch for outstanding service as the 2005 PRAC Chairman.

Butch is a member of the Island Country Club and maintains a single digit handicap: and has been successfully involved as an owner of thoroughbred horses and is a member of the Florida Thoroughbred Owners' and Breeders' Association.
