Michael has been a residential REALTOR^® since 1982 in Colorado Springs , Colorado and has been with ERA Shields Real Estate as a top-producing agent since 1986 and is the Branch Broker for the North office. He believes in giving back to his Associations and profession and has served as a Director and President / Chairman of the Board of the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS^® , the largest local Association in Colorado and numerous positions such as a Director, Vice-President, State Treasurer and was President of the Colorado Association of REALTORS^® with over 27,500 members in 2006. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of REALTORS^®. He holds the CRS, CSP, e-PRO and GRI designations. He was recognized by the Colorado Springs Business Journal as one of the " Top 25 Most Influential People in Colorado Springs Real Estate ” and by Broker Associate Magazine as “ Broker of the Month ”. In 2007, Michael was honored as “ REALTOR^® of the Year ” for PPAR with nearly 4,000 members. He has represented numerous production and custom builders as a Marketing Director and is an expert in New Construction. Married to wife Laurie for 23 years, they sponsor cadets from the United States Air Force Academy and their passion is following and attending Formula 1 racing events all over the world.
